Healing Beyond Words: Trauma, Somatic & Experiential Therapies
Accessing subcortical brain-body processing to resolve trauma, regulate the nervous system, and reclaim your life.
Trauma isn't just stored in our memories—it settles into our muscles, nervous system, and physical body. When traditional talk therapy alone feels like it hits a wall, body-centered and neurological approaches allow us to access deeper healing. My practice synthesizes specialized PTSD recovery, Brainspotting, and creative experiential therapies to help you safely move past trauma and step into post-traumatic growth.
PTSD & Complex Trauma Recovery
Restoring Safety & Resilience in Complex Trauma
My post-graduate clinical specialization focuses primarily on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) also referred to as Post Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI), Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), developmental trauma, resilience, and post-traumatic growth.
Trauma can leave your nervous system stuck in state of hypervigilance, numbness, or chronic survival mode. My therapeutic style is flexible and easily adaptable to meet your unique needs. Together, we focus on safe, contained ways to reduce trauma symptoms, build emotional stability, and restore your sense of autonomy.

Complex PTSD & Structural Trauma Recovery
Mindfulness-Based Trauma Therapy & Emotion-Focused Therapy
Developmental Trauma
Narrative Therapy & Cognitive Restructuring
Support for Co-Occurring Conditions: Tailored care for individuals navigating PTSD alongside any co-occurring mental health and substance-use concerns, with support adapted to each person’s unique experience and needs. Specialized training and experience with co-occurring BPD population, PTSD\PTSI populations
Brainspotting (BSP) Therapy
Brainspotting: Subcortical Healing
"Where you look affects how you feel."
Brainspotting (BSP) is a powerful, neuro-experiential therapy that locates points in your visual field ("brainspots") to access and release unprocessed trauma stored deep within the subcortical brain.
Why Brainspotting is Different:
Direct Brain-Body Access: Because processing occurs mostly in the subcortical brain, deep trauma processing can happen in a contained and supported way—often with far less talking than traditional therapy.
Bilateral Sound Integration: Sessions frequently utilize bilateral sound (calming music or nature sounds moving gently between the right and left ears) to balance hemisphere activation and stimulate your parasympathetic (calming) nervous system.
Rapid Relief & Deep Insights: Harnessing your brain and body’s natural capacity to self-scan, process, and return to equilibrium.
Advanced Clinical Credentials:
I am a member of the Brainspotting Canada Association and have completed advanced post-graduate training directly under industry founders and leaders:
Experiential & Creative Therapies
Experiential Therapy: Expressing What Language Cannot
Experiential therapy has been a lifelong passion of mine, blending creativity, playful expression, and hands-on interventions to deepen self-awareness.
Rather than relying solely on conversation, experiential therapy offers "hands-on" creative experiences that allow you to explore inner thoughts, release tension, and connect with your intuition in a safe environment.
Experiential Approaches Offered:
Visual Art and Imagery: A creative way to explore and express what can be hard to put into words.
Sand Tray Therapy and Psychodrama: Gentle, hands-on ways to explore experiences and relationships.
Movement and Mindfulness: Gentle practices to help you feel grounded and connected.
Music in Psychotherapy: Music and sound to support calm, reflection, and expression.
